Face, Body & Sensitivity Guide

African black soap is a potent, active formula.  A few things worth knowing before use:

• Patch test first - apply a small amount to your inner wrist or behind the ear and wait 24 hours before wider use.
• Body use - suitable for daily body cleansing for most skin types.  If dryness occurs, reduce to every other day and follow with a moisturiser.
• Face use - the face tends to be more reactive than the body.  Start with 2-3 times per week and follow immediately with a moisturiser or facial oil to counter any tightness.
• Avoid the eye area - keep away from eyes.  If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Sensitive or reactive skin - African black soap is a strong cleanser.  Those with eczema-prone, rosacea-prone, or very dry skin may wish to use it sparingly and always moisturise after each wash.
