How to use:
One-step method:
- For rich brown tones: Mix 2 parts henna to 1 part indigo with warm water, lemon juice, or brewed tea/coffee to form a smooth, yoghurt-like paste
- For deep black tones: Mix equal parts henna and indigo with your chosen liquid
- Apply the paste generously to clean hair and leave for 2-4 hours, then rinse thoroughly
Two-step method (for deeper, longer-lasting colour):
- Step 1: Mix henna powder with lemon juice, tea, or coffee into a smooth paste. Apply to clean hair, leave for 2-3 hours, then rinse and dry
- Step 2: Mix indigo powder with warm water into a paste. Apply to dried hair, leave for 1-2 hours, then rinse thoroughly
