Handcrafted in Ghana using a traditional recipe, this authentic African black liquid soap gently cleanses and softens skin while retaining natural moisture.  Made with fair-trade shea butter and neem oil, it is vegan and suitable for sensitive skin.

This natural soap is nice and thick in texture like melted chocolate. Used in West Africa to relieve skin irritations, it has a pleasant smoky scent and can be used as a body wash/shampoo. The soap is made to our recipe with lots and lots of pure unrefined shea butter, unrefined neem oil and moisturising mango.
Our authentic African black liquid soap is free from chemicals and colouring agents – we prefer to leave things authentic.


Essential oils can be added as a preferential choice.

We want every participant to get the most from their workshop experience.  Please read our late arrival policy below to ensure you can fully enjoy your session.

Arrival Time

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your workshop begins.  This gives you time to settle in, meet your instructor and be ready when the session starts promptly at 11:30am.

If You Arrive Late

You are welcome to join the workshop for the remainder of your scheduled session. However, due to our limited hall hire duration, the session cannot be extended beyond the allocated finish time.

Arrivals More Than 15 Minutes Late

If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the start time, you may find it difficult to catch up with the initial hands-on instructions.  We will do our best to assist you, but we cannot guarantee that you will be able to complete the full project within the remaining time.

If you know you will be late, please contact us as soon as possible so we can advise you on the best course of action.

Lathers very well

A little watery than I remember it being but lathers up very well, smells nice and beautiful packaging.

Good for starters

If you are new to black soap or find it irritates you, then this is the best 'beginner' black soap to use. It is not as harsh as the actual bar.

That being said, I couldn't use it every day because it still was a bit too drying (not irritating though). I prefer and love the papaya soap from this brand.

The packaging is lovely though and very eco-friendly, shipping is fast, products are all-natural and organic and the soap does what it says it will do and is also excellent for the body too.

Clear and fresh

I used this entire bottle and my face was super clear and fresh. Now that I've run out my face is a mess. It is an awesome product and I need some more ASAP. Totally sad that it's sold out but I know why.
