Natural & Stone Beads
We work with a mix of natural stone and gemstone-style beads. Each piece features its own unique variations in colour and pattern, making every bracelet one of a kind. All beads are selected for their durability and visual appeal.
Ghanaian Beads
Our collection includes traditional Ghanaian glass beads handcrafted by artisans using techniques passed down through generations. These beads are made from recycled glass and feature vibrant colours and distinctive patterns. Each bead is individually shaped and finished, giving your bracelets authentic character and cultural heritage.
Bead Sizes and Shapes
You will work with a variety of bead sizes ranging from 4mm to 12mm, along with different shapes. This variety allows you to create interesting textures and visual rhythm in your designs.
Quality and Sourcing
All beads used in the workshop are sourced from trusted suppliers. Sheabutter Cottage works directly with small-scale producers and artisan communities where possible to support traditional craft and fair trade practices.
Care Instructions
Your finished bracelets are durable for everyday wear. To keep them looking their best, avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfumes and harsh chemicals. Store them flat or hanging to prevent tangling and protect gemstones from scratches.
