Cold pressed from the kernels of the sour plum, ximenia oil conditions the scalp and nourishes the hair - especially dry/damaged hair. it is highly emollient and softens the skin.

Ximenia oil is said to contain ximenyic acid which has been shown to be anti-inflammatory (great on chapped lips).
Nutritionally rich in Vitamin C, ximenia fruit can be eaten raw or made into jams, jellies and a refreshing syrup.
The seed oil, extracted in various ways, is edible and used in cooking. However, its principal use is as an emollient. Ximenia oil is used by bushmen on their bows and bow strings, whilst the women and girls use it to anoint their bodies and hair.
It is a very effective hair oil, rich conditioner and skin softener. Chapped skin is often soothed by massaging Ximenia oil into the affected area.
Ximenia oil improves the functioning of sebaceous tissues and is an effective treatment for dry skin. Ximenia oil is moisturising for hair and skin.

Extremely luxurious and conditioning

The Ximenia oil came promptly and I mixed it with a few other oils to make a great cocktail which is a fantastic conditioner for dry, oily, curly afro hair.

It is expensive but worth every penny as a little goes a long way and it is extremely luxurious and conditioning.
Too heavy for my Caucasian hair so I only need a drop but perfect for the rest of my family.

Thank you so much! I will be back for more..

Love it

My hair is resistant to a lot of products but it really took to Ximenia oil.

It's a great alternative to JBCO, especially if you're looking for something lighter and just as absorbent, and you only need a little to moisturise your hair with it.

Definitely recommend this product for those with 4c hair
