HOW TO USE
Wet your hands or a face cloth and work the soap into a rich lather. Massage gently onto damp skin in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Use daily as part of your natural facial skincare routine.
For best results, follow with your facial oil or moisturiser whilst skin is still slightly damp. Store the soap in a well-drained dish between uses to prolong its life.

ORIGIN AND SOURCING
Our papaya facial soap is handmade in small batches in the UK and cured for a minimum of six weeks to create a gentle, long-lasting bar. The unrefined shea butter is sourced directly from JilimaCoop, a female processing cooperative in Northern Ghana supporting local livelihoods and traditional shea butter production. We carefully select natural plant ingredients, including organic lemon, papaya, and turmeric, for their skin-loving qualities. Made with sustainably sourced unrefined and fair trade palm kernel oil.

Is this soap suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. The high shea butter content and natural plant ingredients make this soap suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. As with any new product, a patch test is recommended if you have specific sensitivities.
Can I use this soap on my face?
Yes. This bar is specifically formulated as a facial soap and is suitable for daily use.
How long will one bar last?
Stored in a well-drained soap dish away from standing water, one bar typically lasts around 3 to 4 weeks with daily facial use. Longevity varies depending on usage frequency, drying conditions, and water hardness.
We handmake our soaps with generous amounts of nourishing and moisturising plant oils in the "old fashioned traditional way" in small batches. Mix until our arms can not take it anymore, leave to set, cut into bars and leave to cure.
The curing process is never rushed. It takes a long time [anything from 4 weeks ….] to ensure that you use a very gentle soap. Oh, and the beauty of this is that the glycerine is all intact to keep the moisture levels balanced.
Each bar or liquid soap is made with you in mind with skin loving + hair friendly oils - we never rush it nor cut corners.
Rather than hiding behind the “natural” jargon, we do make it NATURAL focusing on ethically sourced plant oils and ingredients which work in harmony with your skin + wellbeing.
