Bamboo Soap is a handcrafted bar of soap with gentle exfoliating properties. Each bar is packed with a generous amount of unrefined shea butter, premium cocoa butter and a good measure of olive oil - ingredients we absolutely love for the way they care for the skin.
A blend of sugarcane and bamboo gives the bar its mild, natural cleansing and exfoliating quality.

The shea butter used in this soap is sourced through direct relationships with Jilima Coop in Ghana. Sheabutter Cottage works closely with its suppliers to support fair and transparent trade practices. Ingredients are selected for their quality and their connection to traditional African botanical knowledge.
Common Questions
Is this soap suitable for sensitive skin? Yes. The formula is built around gentle, nourishing ingredients and does not contain synthetic fragrances or harsh detergents. If you have a known allergy to any of the listed ingredients, please check the full ingredient list before use.
How long will the bar last? With daily use and proper storage on a draining soap dish, the bar will typically last four to six weeks.
Can I use this soap on my face? The bar is formulated for body use. If you would like to use it on your face, we recommend doing a patch test first, as the exfoliating ingredients may be too active for some facial skin types.
We handmake our soaps with generous amounts of nourishing and moisturising plant oils in the "old fashioned traditional way" in small batches. Mix until our arms can not take it anymore, leave to set, cut into bars and leave to cure.
The curing process is never rushed. It takes a long time [anything from 4 weeks ….] to ensure that you use a very gentle soap. Oh, and the beauty of this is that the glycerine is all intact to keep the moisture levels balanced.
Each bar or liquid soap is made with you in mind with skin loving + hair friendly oils - we never rush it nor cut corners.
Rather than hiding behind the “natural” jargon, we do make it NATURAL focusing on ethically sourced plant oils and ingredients which work in harmony with your skin + wellbeing.
